I agree with Patricia Ryan that speaking more than one language is a good thing because. It will help us communicate with other people and it will also let us share our ideas and thoughts with people from different ethnic backgrounds. I think that it is somewhat important to know more than one language I dont believe it is a necessity though. But it is important becaue it helps keep the world diversified and interesting in it's very own ways.
